UAW members at Chrysler Group's Sterling Heights assembly plant build the Chrysler Sebring, Sebring Convertible, and Dodge Avenger. The three vehicles come equiped with World Engines that use dual-VVT technology. The engines get a 5% boost in fuel economy compared with conventional I4 engines.

Production of the vehicles began after a $500 million investment at the Sterling Heights assembly plant, as well as the neighboring stamping plant. Together the plants employ over 4,500 workers.
