Tesla Motors in California is an electric car firm which is producers of this tesla electric car. They are specialized in producing BEV or battery electric vehicles. These vehicles make use of lithium ion charge and are expected to travel around 200-300(miles) per charge.
The first generation of these vehicles is expected to be released sometime in late 2012. The second generation is expected to come out in 2014. Lotus gliders technology will not be followed in the upcoming models instead Tesla motor technology will be used.

Last year, Nissan launched its electric car product called LEAF. LEAF stands for Leading Environmentally-friendly Affordable Family. As the name suggests, LEAF is environmentally friendly cars which are offered at a not high price. Some news sources say that Nissan took off this car at a price of 2.99 million yen, equivalent to USD 37.8 thousand. This is a fairly low price for an electric car.
