SIX THINGS YOU CAN DO TO ENSURE PRODUCTION OF FUEL-EFFICIENT VEHICLES IN THE U.S.
Ensuring continued investments in new fuel-efficient technologies here in the U.S. will require new policies that offer incentives for both the manufacture and purchase of advanced vehicles and alternative fuels.
Six things you can do to support policies that save oil and save jobs:
- Support the Green Jobs Initiative
Learn more by reading "Green Collar Jobs in America's Cities", which focuses on local green jobs in clean energy industries and offers guidance on how cities can link residents to green-collar jobs. A similar study, "Greener Pathways", provides a plan of action for state policy-makers. Both reports were prepared by the Apollo Alliance, Green For All, Center for American Progress and the Center on Wisconsin Strategy.

Sign-up to recieve the Green Machines News, a bi-monthly newsletter that provides updates about fuel-efficient vehicles and new policies that help to save oil and save jobs.
